DENSO AUTOMOTIVE Deutschland GmbH employs 574 associates in six locations. The Aachen Engineering Center (AEC) was founded in 2005 in Wegberg with focus on Development Activities in the area of Powertrain, especially Diesel injection systems and exhaust after treatment. From 2010, AEC expanded and covers also the topics ECU HW and SW Development, Components for xEVs as well as Infotainment. In the Aachen Engineering Center testing facilities for transient engine characteristics, Dynamometers for Emission Testing, Common Rail pump and Injector benches, Electronic Labs and Testbenches for Testing of xEV components are established.
